Awesome movies on friendship
We watched couple of awesome and very touching movies on friendship this last weekend.
One was "Le ballon rouge" which tells the very cute story of a friendship between an young boy and a red balloon and the envy the world has over their friendship.
The second one, part of the same DVD, was "Crin blanc: Le cheval sauvage" (White Mane) which tells the story of friendship between an young boy and a rebellious horse and the envy of an evil ranch owner, whose tyranny drives the story to a tragic close.

The importance of community in your health
"It always seems to come down to who you know. The people we grew up with, now know, and will grow old with have a huge effect on our well-being and even our risk of future disease. Community is where we assimilate health believes, attitudes and behaviors. Community also encompasses our neighbourhoods and their attendant social factors, such as violent crime, unemployment and access to health-care services. All these components blend to impact our health profoundly, both positively and negatively."

35-yr old to lead USA's $700B bailout .... bad choice??!!
35-year old Neel Kashkari is the Interim Assistant Secretary of Treasury and will be leading the US $700B bailout package.
A Wharton MBA grad, Kashkari in his previous Avatar was a NASA Engineer. Post-MBA, he was an intern at Goldman Sachs for 2 years after which Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, invited him to work at the White House.
Though Kashkari is immensely talented, I am not sure if it is a good idea to have him lead the US out of this financial mess especially when top leaders of other countries are managing things in their country!
